I am quite new to this whole blogging thing so I'm new to tagging as well. But I was tagged and I'm feeling the pressure so here goes.
Here's the tag:
1. Pick up the nearest book (one of at least 123 pages)
2. Open the page to 123
3. Find the 5th sentence.
4. Post the next 3 sentences
5. Tag 5 people.
Here's my response:
The Non-Runners Marathon Guide For Women - Get off your butt and on with your training. By Dawn Dais
"It's in these moments when you'll realize, as many a profound person has observed, that sometimes the journey is worth more than the destination. The marathon-training journey is about a lot more than merely finishing one (very long) race. It's about getting to the race: its about challenging yourself in ways that seem obscene to any sane person; it's about coming up with unique ways to treat various rashes caused by spandex."
Here's who I tag:
Alicia, Chris Hailey Brig... Yin, I'd like to tag you because I'm sure you'd have a good book nearby but you may be quite busy having a baby today, or tomorrow...

I did it! I thought I would post right away because, um, you never know what may happen tomorrow. (I might have just jinxed it).
Thankfully, the nearest book was not a pregnancy book or else the results might have been a bit icky.
Are you training for a marathon?! Do you have one in mind that you'd like to run?
Those sentences are so cool! I can't believe that was chosen so randomly like that.
Based on those few sentences it sounds like a good book. Yes, inquiring minds want to know...are you training for a marathon? If so, more power to you. I think I have grown to despise running over the years. Now a 100 mile bike ride is more my thing.
Love it! We still haven't traded training manuals, I think I need to read that one :-)
I've never been tagged either...so do I post on my blog? so exciting.
Chris, ya you post on your blog.
Marian, I'll get that book to you.
Darilyn, I cheated a little bit, I had two books on my nightstand and this book had a better stand alone section so I choose this one.
