Alicia

Right after we moved we had a stream of visitors, one of those visits was Alicia. It was great to have her here, it's always great to have people around that really love your kids and shower them with it. We had a great short visit as she made her way back to Utah from her summer on other continents.

Vermont's fine but it ain't mine, Portland's mine but it aint' home no more ...

Leave it to Neil Diamond to put voice to my feelings. The move has gone well. After getting here and closing on the house (of which there will be pictures to come) we are now getting settled into small town Vermont life. While I do miss home, my family, friends and life in Portland, this really is a great place to live and we are enjoying it.

Pre-Move Neglect

Moving is one of those times where you expect life to get a little crazy. Welcome to the life of the crazy movers.

I found this about an hour after Anders asked multiple times for something to eat and was ignored.

Coast to Coast - not quite ... but pretty close.

Oregon to Vermont - that's the move!

- Over 3000 miles
- Over 55 hours in the car
- One bike strapped to the top of the car, training wheels included.
- One 3 year old
- One 1 year old
- And 2 crazy parents
